This project will consist of a ten-foot-wide concrete walkway that is planned to one day be a connection to the Chadwick Flyer Trial System. This proposed multi-use path will run from the Cheyenne Valley Development to High Point Elementary.

This project is currently planned for construction starting March of 2025.
Project Documents
The City of Nixa will be using state, federal, and city funding on the upcoming construction project to run a ten-foot-wide multi-use path from the Cheyenne Valley Development to High Pointe Elementary.
This project is intended to:
- create more sidewalk connectivity within Nixa
- plan for future trail connections with other regional trail systems
- increase pedestrian safety near public school buildings

Public Meeting - July 16th
The City of Nixa will hold a Public Meeting at City Hall from 5 pm to 6:30 pm on July 16th to answer questions and address comments regarding a proposed Multi-Use Path from the Cheyenne Valley Development to High Pointe Elementary. This project will consist of a ten-foot-wide concrete walkway that is planned to one day be a connection to the Chadwick Flyer Trail system.
