Building Inspections

During the construction process, city building inspectors will need to review the work to ensure it is in compliance with our building codes.

To request an inspection, you will need to visit myNixa, login to your BS&A account, and enter the permit number we assigned to your project.

• You may also call our inspection scheduling hotline at 417-724-5775 to schedule a building inspection.
• The cost of your inspections are included in the permit fees you paid at the time of your application for the building permit.
• We cannot schedule an inspection on the same day. We need a minimum 24-hour notice from the time you request an inspection to the earliest we may be able to inspect your construction project.
• When scheduling, please indicate whether you prefer your inspection in the morning or afternoon. We will try to conduct your inspection as soon as possible. If you are curious about the status of your inspection, please call us at 417-725-5850.
