Doug Colvin Receives Award for Hometown Utilities

Congratulations to Doug Colvin, Nixa Assistant City Administrator and Director of Nixa Utilities & Public Works, for receiving the Duncan Kincheloe Value of Hometown Utilities Award!

The Missouri Public Utility Alliance presents this award to an employee or official of an MPUA member utility “who has exemplified the benefits of local utility ownership to better their community.”

Doug has served our Nixa community since 2004 and has held multiple leadership roles for MPUA, including committee treasurer, secretary, and vice-chair. He has been honored with multiple awards from MPUA in past years as well.

We are blessed to have Doug on our team, helping to lead the way for hometown utilities.
