Employee Spotlight: Will Liniger

Will Liniger started his career with Nixa in 2013 for the Street Department building & grounds maintenance crew. Because of his strong work ethic and eagerness to learn, Will was promoted to utility worker in 2015. Will is an employee that willingly volunteers for everything from plowing snow in the winter to working special events like Sucker Days and the Christmas Parade. He always does so with a smile and a positive attitude. He can often be seen in the city street sweeper doing his best to keep pollution and debris out of our streets and ultimately, out of our local waterways. Will’s desire to serve his community doesn’t stop with his work for the city. He spends much of his personal time as an active volunteer for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). This involves volunteering for everything from search & rescue missions to assisting many of the local fire departments. He also helps with the Nixa Citizens’ Police Academy Alumni.

Will is truly an asset to the city and the community. Thank you, Will!
