Our young residents are the heartbeat of our community, and I am continually inspired by their dedication, talent, and unwavering commitment to excellence. I’m proud and thankful to see the remarkable achievements of our youth, who represent Nixa with grace, poise, and distinction in every endeavor.

Whether in academics, sports, arts, or community service, the young people of Nixa consistently demonstrate qualities that set them apart. Their accomplishments not only bring pride to their families but also contribute to the positive reputation of our city on a broader scale. It is heartening to witness the enthusiasm and passion that our young residents bring to every activity, showcasing the potential for greatness within our community.

From academic honors to athletic achievements, artistic pursuits, and community service initiatives, our youth embody the values of hard work, determination, and compassion. Their successes are a testament to the supportive environment fostered by families, educators, mentors, and the Nixa community at large.

As your mayor, I want to express my deepest appreciation for the positive impact our youth have on the collective spirit of Nixa. Their accomplishments not only inspire their peers but also serve as a source of inspiration for residents of all ages. The investments we make in these young people are investments in the future of our city, and we can see by their successes, the investments are already paying dividends. I am confident that these young leaders will continue to contribute to the growth and prosperity of Nixa.

I recently had the opportunity to meet with a group of Nixa High School students to get their input for the Nixa 2045 comprehensive plan, and to say I was impressed would be an understatement. Their thoughtful input and constructive feedback about our community will make a significant impact on the path for Nixa over the decades to come.

I encourage each member of our community to take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the accomplishments of our youth. Let us offer our support, encouragement, and applause for their hard work and dedication. By doing so, we not only express gratitude for their contributions but also reinforce the sense of community that makes Nixa a truly exceptional place to live.

Thank you, Nixa youth, for your outstanding efforts and for representing our city with distinction. Your achievements are a source of pride for us all, and I am excited to see the continued impact you will undoubtedly make in the years to come.
