MoDOT Public Meeting: Cheyenne Valley Multi-Use Path

Nixa & Christian County – Those interested to learn more about the Cheyenne Valley Multi-Use Path from the Cheyenne Valley Development to High Point Elementary are invited to a public meeting on July 16, 2024.

The public meeting is scheduled for 5 – 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Nixa City Hall, 715 W. Mt. Vernon Street, Nixa. No formal presentation is planned. Those who attend may come at any time between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to learn about the project and ask questions.

Here’s a look at the project:

• Construction of a 10-foot wide multi-use path along North Cheyenne Road and North Street from Summitt Elementary and Cheyenne Valley Subdivision on North Road
• This project could be considered the 1st phase of a possible connection to the Chadwick Flyer Trail

Traffic Impacts:

• Minimal traffic impacts
