This development will consist of a 10,640 square foot retail building, located south of town off of Hwy 160. This will be Nixa’s first Dollar General Market. The store is set to open on October 30th.

The Dollar General Market is a 10,640 sqft retail building located off of Sunrise Drive. It will have a stormwater detention area to hold all of its runoff, landscaping areas along the east, south, and west sides of the buildable area, and 37 parking spaces.

Dollar General Set to Open
Dollar General has passed its final inspection and has been issued a Certificate of Occupancy. They are set to have a soft open on October 30th. This project is complete.

Paving & Interior
Dollar General has paved portions of the parking area. They have also set their sign in place and are working to fill the store.

Contractors continue to get the site ready for paving. Paving is expected to be complete the week of 10/15.

Dollar General has begun painting the interior of the building. Outside, the contractor is getting closer to finishing up utility connections and drainage structures.

Dollar General Preconstruction Meeting
A preconstruction meeting was held for Dollar General. All permits have been approved and Dollar General has been cleared to start construction.
