The new southwest regional lift station will replace the current Oakmont lift station that is at maximum capacity. This project will also expand the sewer system to accommodate new development in the southwest section of the Nixa area.

The new southwest regional lift station provide additional capacity and open up development in the southwest section of Nixa, as the current Oakmont lift station is at maximum capacity. The location of this project is an acre north of Shamrock Road.

Project Update
The site of the lift station has been secured on an acre lot north of Shamrock Road. City Staff are working through the easement process and have secured a majority of the easements needed for the project. Designs for the lift station are complete, and staff is currently waiting on DNR approval of the plans. Once approval has been provided and all remaining easements have been obtained, the project will go out to bid.
